The Rotary International President John F. Germ and Prime Minister of Uganda Dr.Rukahana Rugunda launched the Rotary Blood Bank in Mengo Hospital.
In attendance was Jane Ruth Acheng the Health Minister, Sarah Opendi the State Minister for Health in charge of General Duties, RIPN Sam Owori, DGE Rtn Ken Mugisha, PDG Emmanuel Katongole, DG Gayesh and many Rotarians to mention but a few
PP Rotarian Fred Mubiru was able to donate blood to the fresh blood to the Blood Bank
